two small business owners recently discovered that the city of live oak has been forcing us to spend large amounts of money on things that were completely unnecessary in order to drive up the valuation of projects to increase revenues to a private outside company.  this private outside company receives 65% of all permit fees close to $2 Million in less than 3 years!  our investigation has overturned a city with very little oversight and a city council that does not care about veteran owned small businesses.  It is a city that has limited accountability run by an unelected dictator (city manager).

Officers from the Live Oak police department accused unchartered adventures in live oak of the following serious crimes while wearing their bodyworn cameras

-serving alcohol to minors

-hiding cash from the state tax authorities

-skimming money from poker players

the business has never had a single violation and has never sold alcohol to minors.

The Live Oak Police Department officers arrested Damon Fogley at live oak city hall for trespassing and resisting arrest secondary to filing an internal affairs complaint and speaking with news reporters about the accusations.

we have reason to believe that the city of live oak may be utilizing their 23 flock license plate camera readers purchased for law enforcement for purposes completely unrelated to law enforcement as an enforcement mechanism for their revenue generation from permits and fees.
